Opening reception April 10th 6-9pm

Sometimes beauty comes to us as a colour, a sound, a taste, or a texture. Sometimes it’s a feeling, or a memory. Sometimes it’s the way the light falls, or the way something is shaped. It can come to us in the hardest moments of our lives. Sometimes it’s hard to categorize.

My work is an attempt to express this kind of beauty. The translation of how I feel about what I see is the central focus of my art. I’ve been trying for 35 years, and I’m still a beginner. Each piece teaches me something.
