Brain Waves by Shari Kasman

Using a material designed for marking boundaries, trees, and hazardous areas, Shari Kasman’s colourful installation plays with the language of urban caution, construction, and improvised infrastructure. Adapted from her public art practice, this window intervention continues her exploration of how cities speak, and how artists can talk back.

Shari Kasman is a Toronto-based writer and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans photography, satirical public art, and collaborative urban interventions like Bloodale Beach. Her books include Goodbye, Galleria and Welcome to Bloordale Beach. Through her projects, she explores the absurd, the overlooked, and the unofficial ways people reshape and reimagine the city.
